About the Artwork:
The artwork "In the loop" tells in bright colors like orange and purple about the problems of dead ends and dry stretches on every path of life. The foreground shows a looping path that stretches from the upper right to the lower left. The figures on this path appear to run into a loop at the bottom. At least, in all these forks, no clear path leads on. The other figures in the center right do not stand directly on this path, but rather outside of it and seem to look at the one going into the dead end.
The state of necessary perseverance and hopelessness can hit anyone - a moment in which it seems to go no further. This is what this work is about. But it is only about a moment. We live in a time of constant change, even in the standstill of the pandemic, the world continues to change. Man, despite failures or difficulties, always finds new ways to what he desires. Even dead ends disappear again, if you put it on.
The work is painted in acrylic and resin on canvas. It is framed in white.

Über das Kunstwerk:
Das Kunstwerk „In der Schlinge“ erzählt in bunten Farben wie Orange und Lila von den Problemen der Sackgassen und Durststrecken auf jedem Lebensweg. Im Vordergrund zeigt sich ein sich umschlingender Weg, der von oben rechts bis unten links reicht. Die Figuren auf diesem Weg erscheinen unten in eine Schlinge zu laufen. Zumindest führt in all diesen Abzweigungen kein klarer Weg weiter. Die anderen Figuren in der Mitte rechts stehen nicht direkt auf diesem Weg, sondern eher außerhalb und scheinen auf den in die Sackgasse Gehenden zu blicken.
Der Zustand des notwendigen Ausharrens und der Ausweglosigkeit kann jeden treffen- einem Moment, in dem es nicht mehr weiterzugehen scheint. Davon handelt dieses Werk. Doch geht es nur um einen Moment. Wir leben in einer Zeit der ständigen Veränderungen, auch im Stillstand der Pandemie verändert sich die Welt weiterhin. Der Mensch findet trotz Misserfolge oder Schwierigkeiten immer wieder neue Wege zu dem ihm Erstrebenswerten. Auch Sackgassen verschwinden wieder, wenn man es darauf anlegt.
Das Werk ist in Acryl und Harz auf Leinwand gemalt. Es ist weiß gerahmt.
